James Almeroth, CW, Associate of Business

Hello! My name is James Almeroth. I am part-owner along with my wife Melissa at Front Range Welding and Fabrication. We started this business in 2018 because we are both truly passionate about welding. I started welding when I was 13 years old. My father was in construction and I grew up watching my dad craft things in his garage and always wanted to be a part of his projects. He was always willing to share his expertise and engage with me. I loved the hands-on learning he provided.

 

 I would play with my dad's tools when I was a child and tried to build bikes but I never had the tools to build the bikes I was passionate about. I started welding neighborhood bikes when I was young for fun. I later progressed to automobile repairs. That is where I expanded my skill set. I always felt that I was talented enough to go to a trade school.

2011- Student at WyoTech in Laramie (WY). I graduated with honors (4.0 GPA). I became certified in Automotive, Diesel, Hydraulics, Chassis Fabrication and High Performance Repair.

​

2012- Snow Summit Inc. (CA) hired me as a Heavy Equipment Welder where I primarily worked on snowmobiles, snow cats, front-end loaders,  doing bucket repairs and track repairs.

​

2013- Black Thunder Thermal Coal Mine (N.E. WY). I contracted with the open pit coal mine to weld and repair truck shovels, drag lines, loaders.

​

2014- Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine (CO). I was contracted for mechanical work and fabrication on various mining infrastructure. 

​

2014- Vestas Wind Systems (CO). I worked as a steel production welder producing wind turbines.

​

2018- State of Colorado (CO). I established Front Range Welding & Fabrication along with my wife Melissa. 

​

I love my profession and I take pride in the quality of work that I provide. I am a business owner and focus on designing solutions that make a difference in the lives of my clients.

Melissa Almeroth, Associate of Business Administration:

Hi my name is Melissa Almeroth, I am a Colorado native from Pueblo Colorado and co-owner of this business along with my husband James. I’m passionate about our business, the quality of our products and providing the best possible experience for our customers. 

 

Along with many years of business studies and administration I grew up working with my grandfather who not only built award winning street rods from the ground up but also custom homes which allowed me to expand my repertoire from a young age. James and I have built this business working side by side and continue to strive toward perfection and growth as a business. I ensure that our clients receive the best customer service experience and highest quality product possible.
